I'm just one person but I can't connect to the data center today. I keep getting #2002 errors just trying to connect. So I can't even get in queue.

So things are very slowly getting better. Thats nice to read. Hoping this is over soon... like, probably everyone else does ^^"
Hang tight fellow warriors, we'll get through this.

I dont need luck, i just need afk people to log off and be respectful but these days respect is hard to find. Some of us work 100+ hours a week and still spend time with family. Before you think I'm lying do some research on how many hours EMS often work. What little time we are able to play shouldnt be spent in a que. No one should be waiting in a 3000+ que anyway. The "don't log out" hyperbole is literally a part of the problem. Anyone afking for longer than 30 min using mouse click programs, bots, or scripts are the lowest pieces of trash in the community spectrum currently and I mean that whole heartedly. We need a "just logout campaign", the longer you are logged out for the rest of this month, the more free time you get. Reward doing the right thing.

Pretty much. I'm going to have to force myself to go to sleep soon, otherwise I'll have to be fighting the queues tomorrow, and potentially not even be able to play.

"Even if you are temporarily disconnected due to Error 2002 at times of such instability, the lobby server will continue to wait for a few tens of seconds to a minute for your connection to be restored. If you are able to get back online and reconnect to the lobby server quickly, you will be able to queue up again from the middle of the queue. After a certain amount of time, the connection will be completely lost, and you will have to join the end of the queue."
This bit makes me a little angry. I waited in queue for 2 hours, got to around 150 in queue, got booted, got back in on my FIRST try just to be put at the back of the line. There has to be a better way to reserve someone's spot in line. You can't expect people to just throw away hours and hours in queue just to play. It makes the time actually spent playing stressful as well. What if something comes up? What if I have to step away? If I log out now I'll never get back in. I know that it's kinda outta SE's hands right now, but this is not sustainable.

I've been around since ARR but this server situation is testing the limits of my patience. Welcome to all the new people. SE figure this mess out please. No one should ever have to wait more than 10 minutes to just log in to your game, let alone four hours.

I can agree that it may be ISP router related. my DSL is the pits: windstream. it dribbles packets.Eh, can vary. I'm currently wired in, but my ethernet cable is wobbly, and if it wiggles loose, I get an instantaneous 90k, even though my computer immediately switches over to wifi.
More accurately, as discussed elsewhere, the issue may very well be less player-related, more ISP/routing related.![]()
I have been around since day 1 ARR. I logged in after a 3 hour queue, to be kicked out of the server during a cutscene(90002 error) and losing my spot in the game. I ended up at a queue of 6,000+. I went to plug my laptop directly into my router and took a shower, thinking having it plugged into the ethernet would help. I came out to find myself 2002ed and then came back to another 6,000+ queue. All in all, by the time I get in I will have spent 10 hours in the queue and gotten to play the game for about 30 minutes. It's pretty bad. I don't blame SE, though some would maybe say I should. They're clearly trying to work on solutions, as clear from the multiple maintenances. Though it seems like nothing has changed on my end. For the numerous upon numerous complaint threads on the forums I am seeing, however, I am not seeing my queues reduce even in the slightest.
