Yep and not everyone who raids has the luxury of not working and can sign in whenever they like. Many people actively take time off to do world first prog so having huge queues kind hampers the race part of it.

Well, delaying Savage for months probably isnt an option.
Queues likely will go down some after the expansion rush, but true fixes won't happen until hardware can be acquired, which won't be any time soon.

I would not like delaying everything of patch 6.05 after just having waited 6 months for new content and then another 2 week delay. A part of the fun of major patches for me is joining the rush to craft as much gear as possible and selling them for 1-2 million a piece, and they sell that high primarily because raiders are unable to get superior tome gear as it has a weekly lockout. However, they could just push back savage and nothing else. Delaying savage alone wouldn't affect most people, but then the raid's difficulty level would suffer from raiders having multiple pieces of tome gear before they even enter.I mean, probably.
It's inconvenient, sure, but if they are linked at the hip, I think the dev team will probably prioritize making the savage content a guaranteed good experience over tomestones and gear. Like, this situation isn't magically getting better, so there is a chance they don't delay tomestones at the very least, but I wouldn't be surprised if they chose to do everything they can to make sure statics can play Savage raids without worrying about DCs over crafting armor and tomestones.
It's definitely a conundrum and I'd choose the armor and tomestones over savage personally, but the situation the team is in is kinda unprecedented.
Wasn't there a massive s*** storm just a couple of weeks ago when people found out they took time off from work during the wrong week? I don't know if world first proggers can change their PTO with shorter notice than other people. And if you've wasted the PTO... the inevitable queue is going to feel even worse.

I could see that happening, seems like the only decent compromise in this situation.
