Should Savage be Delayed?

Delay the Raids the timing they put on these was way too fast for the Christmas holiday and New Years. No t to mention if team members get a 90k puts a big fat hole in everyone’s night! People dont wanna wait 4 hrs for their crew to log back in! Not everyone can load FF14 2 hrs ahead of time either when they get off work and raid starts in 30min in prime time. It’s prime time for a reason people got jobs.

They shouldn't bring it out till there queue times is back to normal and not in the thousands. If theres no savage or raids then most will stop playing once the story is over and then let ones that can't play to be able to.

People don't think they should delay the 8man? They have three seasonal events coming up. They could literally push this almost to the end of Jan. Which won't make servers magically appear. But gives them more time to work. Gives players more time to spread out. I would think a delay would be obvious. One DC with the way the game is designed means night over.

Content shouldn't be delayed just because people have issues logging in. It sucks to punish the people who do manage to play because of those who can't.

Anyone against this is one of the lucky gold spoons who haven't gotten 90k errors and tell you "works fine for me!". If I was raiding day 1 and disconnected into a 10k person queue that would be the end of me playing FFXIV. If they're going to release them on schedule then they better figure out a way to make a disconnect grace period where you can reconnect within 5 minutes of a 90k. (they wont because they're incompetent)

People keep using this point and actually believe that a majority of the playerbase is even unable to play the game like they are.

That\\'s not how static works.

And yet that's kinda how it will have to be this time around. No short delay will resolve the issue the game faces now due to literally being trapped between critical success and shortage of equipment capable of handling the new found popularity. People just need to accept the climate of raiding this season and make adjustments as necessary. Far more people depend on raid season than just raiders including people who endgame craft/gather and play the market.

It doesn't change the fact that the situation sucks for all included. If you can't raid during offpeak because supposedly, you have jobs (lolnoshit, many do) than you will unfortunately have to either brave the queue or pray it dwindles by then. If SE wants to delay and actually cares about the raid community enough to, then power to them and all who will directly profit. But let's not delude ourselves here, they rarely cater to this batch of players much less have already stated they don't know when the situation will improve due to a lack of server infrastructure, which literally precursors how long should they delay to in theory fix the situation?.

That immutable fact is not removed withstanding a heavy delay which would be met with ire from many raiders and non raiders alike.
