    Reaper feels so modern and MNK feels ancient.
    Same animations since ARR, at least DRG has gotten most of them updated now.
    all the classes are "loops" , but how fun the loop is ?

    in case of reaper is there are some tubular loops , some twisters...and a big drop ....

    monk? is a huge straightfoward rail with some bumps on it...is like the rollercoaster for kids

    4. Riddle of Wind... I'm not sure. Maybe it could grant an additional effect called "Flurry Ready" or something which allows you to execute a Six Sided Star without the double GCD penalty.

    There are fixes that can be made, the ideas here are better than the complete lack of imagination that has been the foundation for Monk's issues with the previous expansions, and it isn't the absolute travesty that Shadowbringers/Stormblood Monk was on their respective launches. However it still needs workshopping to get to a spot where it feels great to play instead of just fine to play.
    1 -i dont think positionals are coming back ...

    2- yes more chakra so u can store it would be cool

    3- Phantom Rush aligns with Riddle of Fire , that would make sense , and like i said having a cool 90 move only usable every 120s is a joke.

    4- Riddle of wind should make monk have no GCD so u could spam your attacks as fast as u can....or at least GCD reduced to 1? that would make the job unique

    Monks are supposed to strike faster! thats their "uniqueness"

    It's why I said that it '' feels '' looped.
    There's also little to not adapting on Reaper if you're going away from the boss while on MNK you've got some timers to look at least and there's some variety and adaptation.

    It kinda just feels like I am slashing with a Scythe without any direction, on MNK keeping up Twin Snakes and Demolish alone makes it feel like there is more of a direction and goal to it.
    The goal on Reaper is to slash so that you can do red slashes.
    And Beast Chakras add to that.
    With Reaper it's basically just slash with Scythe until Gauge fills up then spend the Gauge.
    I personally think that it makes for a very '' floaty '' feel.
    It's the same with Ninki on NIN I am not rly a big fan of it.

    Edit: Also I'd say that Reaper is easier, you still need to be more aware on MNK and it's easier for people to screw up.
    Reaper is the one I'd describe as flashy rollercoaster for children.

    Again I still like Reaper but it did disappoint me a bit by how repetitive it feels.
    It's exciting the first minute or so but then you kinda just start feeling like you're just slashing away and it gets a bit boring.
    With MNK I still do feel like I have more of a direction and like more is actually going on, even tho the downtime is boring.

    Enshroud on Reaper is actually kinda meh imo too, it sure is flashy but being flashy can only carry for so long.
    The flashiness wears off after a while.

    One extra note about Blitz now that I have it at a higher level: both Elixir Field and Rising Phoenix being circular AoEs can be very frustrating to play around in movement intensive fights. Get an unlucky tick as the boss jumps away or if you're knocked back? You're not getting that Nadi. This feels like an unnecessarily punishing oversight by having MNK be able to miss some of its biggest potency attacks and having to delay it for those specific cases so you don't waste them feels awful.

    This is something which needs a change immediately. Just had this happen 10 mins ago at the endboss in Orbonne. It might be somehow different in more static runs, but imo it´s just a bad design choice.

    Anyone else at 88+ agrees that Brotherhood feels weird?
    There is a big delay before you get your Chakra you don't even have time to throw your Forbidden Chakra out before the next attack you need to '' clip '' it and essentially waste one unless you want to clip your gcd...

    I think maybe this is because the damage actually registers a while after you press the button but I don't feel like it's this bad when you crit normally.
    But for some reason when I pop Brotherhood I don't even get the Chakra until I am like two thirds through the gcd so there's just not enough time to weave it in.
    It feels unintended and extremely clunky.

    Edit: I hit the dummy for a while and Dragon Kick and Demolish especially feels like the worst offender, you should get the Chakra right away.
    It just doesn't feel good to use imo Brotherhood at 88+ feels clunky.

    Same goes for Blitz skills they also trigger it it seems but there's a huge delay.

    I think that's preferable to having to target the central mob in an AoE stack, though, no?

    I'd rather they stay radial AoEs and just guarantee the generated Lunar/Solar.
