Bold to assume that everyone in this game wants a house, and your maths is wrong on so many levels too.
And housing is something really secondary in the big scale of things too, if you decide you revolve your whole game around it good for you, but it's not and will never be a top priority.
Please explain the errors with the math, you mathematician you? You say the math is wrong. Since your so intelligent show the error?? 4 million players currently. 60 housing blocks per 24 units on each of the 4 aetherites = 5760 houses There are 68 servers and if only 50% of the players want a house but I suspect higher then you have 2 million people wanting a house. 68 servers with 5760 houses on each = 391680 houses. 2 million people across 68 servers = 29400/server that are vying for 5760 houses. 29400/5760/100 = 0.5% chance of getting a house over the other players interested. Then you add on to that issue the 30 minute to 24 hour wait period that you are expected to sit and click a sale sign repeatedly against bots and 3rd party software, only to lose and be expected to wait for the next spot to show up only for the same process to play out again is rather frustrating over time. Couple that with the 45 day period a player must be absent for a house to come up means that you can only expect 128 houses to come on the market at best per day if all of the players from that day have been absent for 45 days which is rather unlikely and then your chances are further diminished. So please mathematician show me your math??

First, where do you get out your 4 M current players ?
Second, why do you divide the total players ( which is, once again, out of the magic hat ) by servors to determine the %, even if each single servers would have the same numbers of players ( which is totally false ) it would not work like that.
YOur maths doesn't make any sense, you dont calculate your chance of having a house by the number of ppl that do want a house.
That would mean that : Each single person is on the same house all the time clicking on it at the same time and that everyone there have the same chance of getting it, which is false too.
Someone doing 0040 will be way faster than someone clicking on it for exemple.
Bots and autoclikers doesn't improve your chance either, it's just for lazy a** that dont want to camp the thing.
Nothing in your thing do work, and your % means nothing actually.
From the very beginning your logic is flawed.
just to point out your error, you messed up calculating the percentages. Please explain the errors with the math, you mathematician you? You say the math is wrong. assuming your math so far is correct , i.e. 29400~ players per server vying for 5760 houses than that's all the numbers you need and would use. you divide the potential houses through the number of interested players 5760/30000, (rounded the player number up slightly, it's guesswork anyways) this gives you 5760/30000=0.192 . now you multiply this number by 100 and than you slap on the percentage sign.
so 5760/30000=0.192
0.192*100=19.2% (% literally means divided by 100, so it's essentaly the same number as before, just slightly nicer to look at)
so yea, IF your numbers are correct there are 5 people for every house so your chance is in fact close to 20%, still highly limited but not nearly what you suggested.

This amuses me. Since the great forum protectors of SE have claimed apartments are houses and people need to get over it.
Also the OP is a little early. I expect housing complaints closer to when everyone except for a few gets screwed when they launch the new housing district.
Irl has the houses around thay people could get , the market just wants to much for the avarage person this days.
Edit also irl apartments are way nicer than the houses for that price, more room/more things added on, a gym, pool, hot tub + balcony's unlike the game
Edit two: also many people prefer apartments irl for those reason your not unreasonably taxed. Plus no community telling you what to do.
