    I think people interpret passive-aggression where there is none and just assume it is there out of anxiety. Where there is passive-aggression, it just isn't the same as actually being rude, because if it's passive then it's in the person's head and they are keeping it to themselves. If it's passive like healing you enough but healing you less, you can ignore it and let it remain in that person's head.

    Indeed. That's why it's much more tolerable than actual toxicity. It's not just a different kind of toxic behavior. Especially on the internet, most people probably wouldn't even notice it.

    And where people would notice aggressive behaviors, then it would also be clear and can even fall under actionable (reportable) actions depending on what it is.
