That said, I feel bad for Yoshi having to make this decision. And as much as it might suck, I do prefer this over releasing the game in a rush. But that's just me. Atleast FFXIV Dev's do truly care about their players and want to give them the best gaming experience possible. That's something a lot of other game dev's could learn from.
while that is true another thing why announce a date. If you announce you better make sure it is available by then. Don't announce a date and 2 weeks before launch say oops. What have you been doing these past months. I like Yoshi but he has himself all over the place doing ff14 and ff16. He took to much that he could chew and now he has spread himself thin. He has to realize he is human and working on 2 games at once is overkill.
