I would love for the Ifrit melee phase to be expanded actually, let's do it. Have his claws come out for the finisher similar to how reaper's avatar works.

But thank you for demonstrating that you also do not understand that a summoner's defining feature is to use summon magic. Those who want so badly to play with dots still have bard for the time being until time mage or necromancer is added to the game. Affliction warlocks got to co opt summoner for the past 8 years and turned the job into an unrecognizable mess, now those of us who want to be real summoners finally can be.
