They did mention, 6.0 was built on 5.x, and only a few jobs got reworks - namely SMN and MNK. Others gained to complement their playstyle, e.g. MCH got Chainsaw which generates 20 battery gauge, so you can call your Queen during your first opener!

DRK really is the one and only job that gets treated like they have done some last minute additions - see Unmend trait, 2 Living Shadow traits, and this mess of an opener, and I highly doubt Shadowbringer was intended to be an oGCD, and was changed last minute, too. Despite being the poster boy from last expansion, you really have to ask yourself if the dev team even plays the jobs they create and wtf they were thinking presenting this... something as a finished product.
It was on Mr.happy interview yeah, I think that Yoshi-p should spend less time watching streams and actually read the forums more periodically bcs the amount of things he say he don't know has been here for years.

And yeah the amount fluff cheap stuff they do with DRK is beyond my mind, no other job in the game have the same level of fluff and useless stuff DRK have as "mechanics" and no other jobs have to call something is from another job but worse, whatever they do in the Desing/development/testing process for the jobs DRK doesn't apply to DRK for some reason, basically feel like it was like:

Designer A: ok now is DRK what we have for him? Any ideas?
Designer B: idk I thing there is a few amount of threads about it on the forums.
Designer C: ugh to much work just do the same thing we did with inner release and give unmend a trait or something we still have to do SMN rework.
Designer A: very well "write-write" Delirium stacks, unmend trait aaaand 2 oGCD, ok next one....
