Assuming this is the MCH feedback thread:
I understand the lower potencies right now due the new math for the physical damage calculations, however:
I always feel that MCH and BRD have the same damage output, and BRD has more party utilities, therefore why shouldn't MCH have a DPS akin to the lowerst of melee/caster? Like NIN. It is high for ranged, but low if you compare to other two roles. You might think about ranged tax, but often when a melee can't hit a boss a ranged can't either (like E12S where the boss stays unvulnerable when melees and rangeds have to move) and SMN in 6.0 will have plenty of instant-casts (and RDM has good movement alongside healing, raising-spam, damage and defense buff AND good damage.) I will wait for the actual release to have a concrete opinion on the potencies and DPS, but I want to express this here now. Either that, or some utility.
Just anything that doesn't make me feel "I can do this on BRD and help more."
Now, onto the ping issue. I play from Brazil using a VPN. I get around 130~ms and I am able to do 6GCD under WildFire. But that's because my internet company have really, really good routes. Giving WF the bunshin treatment (making it like 12 seconds but only 6 GCDs) would fix the job for alot of players, and even more those outside from the main areas (NA/EU/JP). Also a SA server would be nice, but that's for another topic. Since right now, WildFire is a very demanding thing (be able to weave, having VPN/Good internet, use your skills in a very tight timer) to do a damage that others jobs don't have to do as much work. It is a oGCD damage, but it does lack the oomph like the OP said.
Aside from that, I like the idea that we are moving on to more gadgets. I do want to see Soundblaster in the future, and even if possible to make US be the automaton queen, like we turn into it or a magitech mecha. I like the engineer and many gadgets/tools rather than just gun.
