Pulling During Cutscene

No it wasn’t. It was brought up in response to someone telling them to schedule their time better if they can’t wait an extra minute in a duty. OP brought up the whole job excuse first, as if it were some sort of justification.

None the less it was a reply about time management and free time. Who gets to dictate what a person can and can not do with theirs? Not everyone has the time to get done everything they desire or feel necessary. So the response in this thread has been to not play. Or limit themselves to the most minuscule content that wouldn’t allow a player to level at an adequate pace or cap tones weekly after the increase to 900.
Yes op, do not play or limit yourself. I’m sure the devs agree you should not play the game, or at the very least, parts of it

Again, most of us have jobs though. It’s an excuse plain and simple. 1 minute cutscenes aren’t going to make the difference on whether you can use DR or not. If it did then you couldn’t use DR at all because the possibility you’ll wipe once could eat more than that cutscene cost you. Using the excuse of limited play time to defend ruining other players’ experience falls pretty flat on someone like me who has a full time job and a baby that eat up my time.

There is nothing, simply nothing, that waiting upwards of a minute is going to cost you in terms of playtime and since you get an extra bonus for running this through DR and an extra one in top of it for running it with a first time player the idea they are not getting to use it to level up their character is just wrong. If someone was in a rush to get through a dungeon for some reason why not us PF? The answer is obvious, they get more XP and can get into the content faster by using DF. Well the trade off for that is you sometimes get placed with new players on their first run who want to watch the cutscene.

This is just like every other DF thread in that people want to continue getting rewards for it while not having any of the responsibility that using DF is supposed to carry. DF isn’t there to give you free XP and tomestones. It’s there to encourage you to rerun content so others can do it. That means rerun the content in full.
