The New Sage Icon, Thoughts?

I like the new Icon better so I don't really care that much.
But If we start to remove everything that could trigger a Phobia in the game like "Darkness, Spiders, etc" we soon will have Teletubbys Online.... but I bet someone out there would be afraid of that too.

As you said by trying to please everyone you will please no one and the game would result in a blank page. Not white because it would trigger someone. Just an empty page.

If SQEX changed the icon, it's probably because there was a strong response rather than "someone is afraid of X, we must remove X"

Man, I remember reading a short story ages ago about a world where they slowly removed everything challenging, harmful and potentially offensive. The big twist at the end was that the narrator was one of the Teletubbies.

You could see the general direction it was going from a mile away, but I thought it was reasonably well written and the pay-off was a nice mix of funny and horrifying. Never been able to find it again though

I am infinitely more afraid of Teletubbies than spiders.

As for the redesign I do prefer the new one. I felt no aversion to the old one but the new one looks cleaner. Although the one posted above, literally the old one with the holes filled in, is preferred.
