slight double post because I feel I should elaborate, making a gearset usable by both genders does not "double the workload"

concept art can be reused
textures can be reused
helmet can be reused
gloves can be resused
boots can be reused
trousers can be reused

the only thing that has to be remodeled is the chest piece, and even that has to be done anyway in the case of female roegadyn and lalafell, who can't use the midlander models of their respective gender without alteration.

Femroes use fem midlander. Females only have 2 bases, middie and lala. Males are middie, male lala, male roe.

pls enlighten me on which one of my statements is wrong. does a helmet change depending on which version of miqote is wearing it?

Because helmets/hats is what the majority of crossdressing people really want?
You would have to recreate everything for the opposite gender in 4 different ways. The system does not automatically adjust it without the 3D artists first recreating them.

male to female
female to female
female to male

That doubles their workload. They wouldn't just be required to recreate Ryne's boots, they would be required, as a professional company to recreate the entire Oracle (Ryne) glamour set for males, and by extension they would have to recreate whatever males get (Exarch?) for females as well.

That's double the work.
