We need more gender locked cosmetics, cuter fending and melee sets for female characters, more sets like shisui, neo-ishgardian who are different between sexes.

Tbh, I don't care that some gear can be feminine, it annoys me that what's normally feminine is girly. Even when playing a female character I feel like it's a lot harder to find a mature/serious outfit than it is to find something frilly and cute.
How about we just get equally skimpy and sexualized armors for both genders? We have a few sets like the Coliseum/Light Steel and, debatably, the Taffeta as well.
It's also nice to see that women wearing suits is ok but men in dresses/gowns isn't? While I personally am not really into crossdressing I fail to see why women can wear clothes more commonly associated with men isn't an issue but the reverse is? I thought we were in 2021 and not the 1800s.
Or are people really unaware that shirts and tunics were originally all 1 piece dresses that just got shorter as time went on?
They could’ve easily just set it to 1 male hairstyle one female one. Also, it’s pretty obvious just from an objective standpoint. I’m not giving specifics but them not wasting resources on niche things and put elsewhere would mean we’d be getting something else out of it.

Again, they were going down the winning entries. Regardless if you find them masculine or not, those were the winners, those were what have been implemented. The latest bozja update gave us the first non winner/non finalist. Assuming they continue down that route, look forward to these possibilities. They could’ve easily just set it to 1 male hairstyle one female one. And again, you're assuming if we didn't get one niche we wouldn't have gotten another niche. Its as much of a crapshoot as me saying if we didn't get a giant robot dragon for the gwiber final we would have gotten a sineater themed gwiber.

As someone who likes to dress masc on female characters: It's hard out here. The fact the items exist to fit these bodies in the game files means it is a developer choice not to release them.
"Releasing gender locked would mean more andro styles and less masculine glam!!!!!!" Is such a cop out. We wouldn't. They would release glam the same as they always have: in a masculine and feminine style but without the lock. That's it. We wouldn't miss out on any glam, we would actually get more glam overall.
While we're at it, stop taking AF gear and making it really sexual/childish on female characters. Looking at you, BLM and RDM sets..
Preach.
edit:
This is exactly what I'm talking about. I threw a fit when I saw just how different the sets were. Stop trying to force me to show my tits and panties. I'm so over it.

I don't like seeing males in skirts or dresses, if it was up to me I would keep things gender-locked.
It is my belief that females can wear pretty much everything but males should wear male-clothing only!.
And this is why we still have civil rights issues around the world.
There’s a reason there’s numerous threads filled with people complaining about it. They’re very clearly not masculine. They’re literally hairstyles with curls and bows and they just look like a mess, something even female characters have agreed to. It seems like they’re just trying to appease the small crowd with it and it isn’t helping anyoneAgain, they were going down the winning entries. Regardless if you find them masculine or not

Those styles exist because because people voted for them to exist which means they appealed to more people than the non winning styles did. There’s a reason there’s numerous threads filled with people complaining about it. It was a contest based on votes.
Those with the most votes won.
I don't know how to break it down simpler than that.
If they have another contest enter something that is suited to your taste and hope it appeals to more people than other designs.
