It doesn’t matter what drk itself focuses around. It doesn’t change the fact we literally slaughter things for the smallest reasons and do shitty things like bask in their blood. Sorry but that doesn’t sound like something a good person would do. Regardless of the intent.

You feel intent is meaningless, you might not care, but the devs do. The job lore is about protecting the weak and the how we must consider weight of murder even if it means doing what's right. It's a large part of the narrative.
It's a job about exorinv the grey area in justice.
It's not evil or grimdark like you're making it out to be, and it's far removed from the objective naughtiness of "let me be a cut throat bandit SQEX."
