NO NO NO!! The markets are shaping up and this would only disrupt the market! If you can't be bothered to read then treat this is as a learning lesson moving forward. The fact that so many of you lack attention to detail and try to make excuses for it is disturbing. This game could have the notice on screen AT ALL TIMES when you play this game; dead smack center to the point of obscuring your character and people would still complain about not seeing it. NO!!

Please give us another chance to spend them. There are ppl (like myself) - working in 3 shifts and/or on weekends AND have real life responsibilities for family members - who just aren't able to be super up to date regarding such time-frames, letting alone reading/remembering some small texts on the lodestone post or ingame when logging in, when you want to actually play the game if you got time, and not to read up on updates for half an hour before you are good to go.

I wouldn't have had any problem if they had provided a period of time after you stopped earning more but could still spend them, I have no problem with that in principle. With that said you can't claim this was because of shift work, I have sick relatives that I care for and have worked 12 hour shifts for over 15 years while still playing MMO's, none of this has anything to do with not reading event notes, nada.

I wouldn't have had any problem if they had provided a period of time after you stopped earning more but could still spend them, I have no problem with that in principle. If you managed to get along with this situation, good for you, you can be really proud, but you can't assume everyone is managing things exactly as "good" as you.

So please go back and read my complete post, before you cut a piece of it out of context.

With that in mind I don't think I will reply anymore now (based on the reasons stated in my original post), as it seems the climate in this forum is different to what's in general said about our FFXIV community.

Show some empathy and don't always be "against". Better try "with" or "on the same side" for once, real world's hostile enough I think.

I also think they are confusing the truth with a complete lack of empathy, even though some has been shown alongside the facts.

Honestly, despite what my first post in this thread would suggest, I'm not against the idea of them either bringing it back for those who missed out or something. But the fact remains: They were very, very clear. If you knew about the event, it's up to you to go to the page and check out the details of it - like you do when you want to check out what the event is going to bring to the table. If you had the time to figure out what items you wanted to get, what you thought looked nice, etc etc - then you had time to read the BRIGHT RED BOX that said "Hey, spend your moogle tomestones asap, they're not coming back."

What else could they have done? Flashed it big, bright, and red on your game screen every ten minutes?

Exactly! I'm not against the idea of them opening the vendor back up, at least temporarily. There would have been nothing wrong at all with a grace period. But like you, me and a lot of other people have said...they weren't vague on the details. None of that seems to matter though to some. We are just toxic and unhelpful, apparently. I will admit to being in a bit of a bad mood at the start though. lol
