That person already doesn't agree with me. Or well actually if I am following them correctly, they do agree with me, they just also have to make everyone feel smaller than them?

I think my biggest issue with SE randomly deciding to change their methodology for how tomestones can be spent for this event is that it doesn't really seem to serve any purpose and is extremely punishing for those who have been left with lots of tomestones (I personally have over 500 left lul). This event was a limited-time event where you could earn tomestones towards various rewards only during a set period. In that regard, it was like past tomestone events, the Feast ranked seasons, or Ishgard ranked seasons - you had to do the content during these events in order to reap the rewards. However, it was randomly changed up for some reason so that, unlike any past event (other than the seasonal events where you get special tokens), not only did you have to earn the points (tomestones) during this event, but you also had to spend them during this event. Folks on here aren't asking SE to extend the period during which players can earn tomestones; instead, they are asking SE to allow them to reap the rewards of the time they spent over the past month actually doing the content and farming the tomestones.
Putting such a short expiration date on this event's tomestones is akin to SE putting expiration dates on item codes, which they have effectively stopped doing with recent products (other than pre-orders) because it is arbitrary and punished people who "did the content" (i.e., purchased first-run albums, figurines, art books, etc.) for no real reason.
At the end of the day I doubt that SE will do anything, but it is frustrating that they would randomly change things up like this. Players come to rely on mechanics in this game, both battle content and otherwise, and this event was no different for many players who have done countless tomestone events in the past. It would be like if all of a sudden the stack marker in a new dungeon randomly meant something completely different, and you mess it up and cause a wipe because you didn't read the patch notes. :-/

"Reopen the Moogle Pageantry Store now!!"
Upmost Karen vibes. Maybe age is showing more and more, but some of these threads seem so much more demanding and tantrum sounding then they used to.
You mean like how there's some fights in the game already where stack markers look different, or how tank busters look like normal aoe's?
Oh, and just to note, the game also told you literally every time you logged in to hand them in before event ended, on top of event post stating it, on top of all media resources posting it, on top of FAN FEST POSTING IT
Edit: I wanna add, first and only moogle treasure trove that didn't end with new patch. That should'a already given away this wasn't normal, no? Since 5.55 happened in the middle of this.

Like.. I said it before and I'll say it again.. maybe all of you should have used that noggin of yours and think 'wait.. we just had one of these a month ago.. we're already getting another one?' when that is quite outside the norm in and of itself already.I think my biggest issue with SE randomly deciding to change their methodology for how tomestones can be spent for this event is that it doesn't really seem to serve any purpose and is extremely punishing for those who have been left with lots of tomestones (I personally have over 500 left lul). my question will they have an event later with the same moogle tomstones. so that he does get a chance to cash them in . I am asking since i have a few in my bags from two diff moogle events. not alot but been holding on to them incase they do another event later requiring any of the ones i have still
CMS
Probably not since they always use a different currency, but I guess it's not impossible.my question will they have an event later with the same moogle tomstones. so that he does get a chance to cash them in . They put the disclaimer because the Moogle event wasn't tied to ending on a new patch. It would just expire and go away, back to what the Moogle previously offered. Makes total sense.
lol okay folks, I get it, I didn't read the thing when the event started. But that doesn't explain why SE randomly changed things up for this event. As I said, players get used to mechanics, both inside and outside of combat, and this was a case of that where tons of folks "knew" how tomestone events work based on past experience. Anyway, those of us with leftover tomestones already did the work to get them, so it's not like we're asking SE to give us a free handout. We're just asking them to let us use our now-expired vouchers. I already have everything from the event and was just going to get some more MGP at the end of things like I always do, so I'm not too torn about it, but those of you fighting against allowing people to spend their tomes - why? It literally doesn't affect you, unless you have Shiver emotes up on the market board and don't want more to flood in and drop the price for a while. If you spent your tomes, great, but if you didn't, go away as there is absolutely no reason why you should be fighting against players being able to spend the points they earned.
Having said that, I agree with people making fun of the OP for their tone - saying "I demand this now!" is never a good way to go about doing things. If anything we should just raise it to SE's attention that hey, if possible, it would be nice if you could allow folks to spend their tomes after this event as you have done with past tomestone events; if not, okay, it was on us for not reading.
