So... I'm not amongst the people who are suffering from the lack of hats/hairstyles, since I rarely ever wore hats before switching to Viera in the first place, and I tend to stick to 1, 2 hairstyles at most...

I'm aware and understand the reasons for why devs have limited the options for Vieras, and if they never get to wear hats or never get access to the new hairstyles, it won't make much of a difference to me. Regardless, I sympathise with everyone who is invested in this issue.

From the way I see it, the problem is more their lack of compensation for their initial decision. I'd expect the devs to produce more head pieces to compensate for the lack of wearable hats, more hairstyles to compensate for the lack of compatibility with the mogstation hairstyles, and seasonal / event rewards that are 'universal'. I may not be very emotionally invested in this discourse, but you can be sure i'll have no reason to do a seasonal event if the reward is a hat, and also less reasons to buy some set on the mogstation if the hairstyle doesn't apply.

They should make some kind of effort to compensate, is all I'm saying. I don't mind not wearing hats, but I do want more cool headpieces. I'm okay with having hairstyles unique to Vieras, but I'd appreciate a larger selection. Additionally, I wouldn't ask of them to adjust every single hat ever created in the game to fit Vieras, but I would expect them, from the moment Vieras/Hrothgars were added, to create an extra model for Vieras/Hrothgars.

Pretty much this. There's limited time and resources, I understand not everything can be made possible in one go or something, but you'd think NEW things would take races that precede them into consideration? The hairstyles work fine pretty much as is on Viera as proven by modders like 99% of the time even, it's just kind of silly and why it's such a burn.
