Not from me, thus multiple people feel this way. It's worth repeating each and every time. Hopefully it snowballs to the point that it can no longer be ignored. But, sure, be pessimistic as you presumably do nothing in the present. If your goal is to just block it out, I don't think replying as such here is contributing to that either, but sure, whatever.

You personally being indifferent to the racial exclusion of hairstyles to Viera and seemingly overeager to brownnose for Square does not somehow mean others are exaggerating in their complaints towards the issue. It's unfair towards Viera players to have hairstyles continually excluded for them, especially when it isn't even that difficult a hurdle to cross, especially for how much time they have had to do so. It's also not like they are on the brink of bankruptcy. They are a multi-billion dollar corporation. It would of probably costed less than 30k USD to hire a third party modeler to port over the hairs to the slightly different shape of Viera's head. Modders are able to accomplish such feats w/o even seeing a dime. And, not even hairstyles made post their release work with them. It's an entirely neglected issue that is clearly brushed under the rug in regard to their communication to us. No amount of posturing on their behalf is going to change that for us. It's completely unacceptable and not even remotely reasonable at this point. If you want to complain so badly about all of us, by all means, make your own thread to do so if you think your position is so sound.

First of all, you are exaggerating because you are trying to label "racism" on something they already announced before they release the race.
Secondly, modders can alter the the model because those files stay in their own computer (client) instead of sending that information to FF14 server. You don't even have a clue on what you are talking about. If server refuse just even on slight error to the client, client will crash. It is not that easy.
Third, you have no clue how Japanese or any asian company operates. They don't have the luxury just hire/fire freely as US company (who usually is ruthless). If they are hiring someone, it must be talented and undergoes series of training because company is going to think this employ with stay with them as their career. They also don't pay garbage like black hearted Blizzard, it is not that simple

Conclusion? Stop whining and just wait. They did follow through with male Viera and they definitely will get back to the head skeleton part of Viera when they have time.

Even if you think the use of "racist towards Viera" is a bit much I feel like the point of "Expected more by the end of the expansion" still holds solidly, yeah the topic gets brought up over and over, but it only does cause it's an honest issue people earnestly expected at least a response to by now. You'd think new hairs would be compatible on release, at the very least, it's just still a shame Viera, and Hroth, both feel a bit unfinished this long into their release you know? It's odd to exclude the popular new race from cosmetics and technically even *content rewards* without explanation. We have several popular hairstyles tied to content this expansion, it's disappointing the race from the same expansion can't use them.

Not really. They are excluding hairs for a specific race and it is very sensible to presume it's to cut down on costs to increase their available budget. It's not a stretch at all. It is speculation, but completely reasonable speculation.

But it's just 3D characters and i don't think it has anything do to with racism: avoiding bugs, priority choices and money are more realistic imo.

I don't think we have the same ideas in mind when I point out it's racially targeted exclusion. It's racist in that it is content exclusion specific to Viera, a race in the game (arguably Hroth too, but they are all together built a bit different than all other races, but there are certainly lackings for them too, for sure). To have all other races get something but the race I choose to play as sucks, especially for it to be going on for this long. It's literally like the last or near last patch of Shadowbringers. It's absurdly beyond the point of acceptability by now.

No, because that will get deluded with all other topics. Besides, people have already mentioned it there. Do you know what people notice? Multiple threads about the same thing making it impossible to ignore. Just having it pop up as a passing topic in a megathread is just having it swept under the rug. It's supposed to be annoying and exposed, else they have little reason to address it. Regardless, it can exist in both and it might as well.
