and that it shouldnt be forced onto a current server, cuz by doing so you do alienate everyone who doesnt want to be a part of it

dont force people who dont want to be on a roleplay server to transfer off, thus breaking ties with those who are gonna stay

The RPists want the special server, then they should have to do the legwork and choose to go to it as such, its a consequence of wanting one, you cant say its not fair that your releationships may break up, but then say its ok that others may have the same happen to them so that you can get your way
Nothing would be forced. Nothing is being forced now. RP exists on Besaid(and other servers in smaller amounts) and non-rp(OOC) exists. Neither is forced on anyone. Labeling Besaid/Balmung "rp friendly" would not change this. There would still be role-players and role-play.
IF RP is "forced" on others as you say, it's no more "forced" than OOC is, probably even less so. I see much more OOC chatter than role-playing.
No one has to participate in it. Role-playing is not a disease that you can catch. It's a hobby.

I wonder if you think that Fabul will split up over something so trivial as a small part of the community's hobby.

All we're hoping for is a sign on the server door saying "There is an established role-play community here."

The community is already here. Some people may need to get over that fact. I see no harm in saying "We're here, come join us if you wish" in a place for all to see.
