Perhaps they should allow those who have an active account or been subscribed at least once in the past to purchase 1 and only 1 physical CE during the first rollout of a few days. To add a buffer to those who are ready from the get go. As it is now someone is going to be making some good returns on their investment lol, the resellers I mean XD.

Yeah, I do hope that they do a restock and find some way to reach out to active subscribers such as to offer it directly. From what I gather on the North American side, basically as soon as YoshiP started talking about the CE people started hammering various stores and things were gone in a few hours of messy errors and waiting timers. At least Euro had a specified start time but that just ended up with selling out in a couple of hours. I've also heard some copies have popped up on resellers for massively overblown pricing though I haven't looked myself.

I personally don't even want one so I'm not overly put out but this was pretty botched, especially if they don't do another round.

I guess I got lucky then - one of my FCmates let us know preorders were live so I was able to snag mine during a Prae cutscene, but I had to wait in the queue to get the preorder key and to let them Debit me Now.

At least the store had specific buttons to buy the “right” combo - I just pushed the “Windows CE + CE Box” button. A bit confusing since I heard both “The CE box comes with a Windows code” and that the CE Box didn’t come with a code…

Can we get some communication about the collectors edition? I didn't know it was going to go on sale sometime after the keynote and it sold out so fast didn't have a chance to buy one.

What we would like to know is will there be a restock of it and will we be told before it goes up?

In the past SE had slides of when a collectors edition was going to go on sale. I watched the whole keynote didn't have any idea that it was going up later in the middle of the night otherwise I would of been on the SE store trying to buy it. I completely missed out on buying it.

Yeah; I myself thought the preorders weren’t going live for at least a few weeks (even though I was watching when Yoshi-P was showing off the CE goodies and told people to get it “now”). I was lucky enough to get my bundle though; hope they offer more… if my FCmate hadn’t said something, I might have missed out, too. :/

I watched the keynote I didn't catch that line about getting it now. Sometimes I don't hear everything they say especially something important like that should of been on a slide like they have done in the past. I had no idea that it was on sale. A few hours later I did check the SE store on the off chance it was put up only to find it was already sold out.

Step 1: Have a pre-order period (multiple days). Example: from date 5/14/2021 to 6/30/2021. Send emails to account holders before, mid-way and at end with the dates and times. God knows I am always getting store emails from you for things you are selling.

Step 2: Total the pre-orders. The technical term for this is "addition" (足し算). For example: 7 + 3 = 10 (七足す三は十です。)

Step 3: Use the number from step 2 to determine the number of units to make. Hey, you might make a few extra just in case!

Step 4: Ship! As the game code in not in box you can do step 3 in batches until all orders are fulfilled.

And thus you can clear Expansion Pre-Order Savage! Both you and your customers can be happy!

Am I angry about this? Yes, yes I am. Feels like they do not have respect for their customers. If this was handled the way it was at places I have worked one or more people would probably be looking for new jobs today. This is not a small company nor their first expansion.

I was really disappointed I didn't even get a time or date listed for me to even attempt to buy the collector's edition. I've had the physical collector's edition ever since Heavenwards. I really hope they do a second release.

I'm going to be honest: I'm not surprised this happened. It happens with everything now because the pandemic created this scalper issue. I do hope people get it that want it, though.
