But if you want your thoughts or feedback to have a shot at making their way past SQEX we should probably respect their request and contribute the thoughts and feedback to existing megathreads.

My intentions of the post were two fold, to hopefully get eyes at square on it, and to also engage the community, gauge their thoughts, improve the suggested solution, and help generate demand.

I would think that a "robust thread full of conversation" would come naturally from organic posts, not one frankenpost. That's my humble opinion though.
