Because I Cannot say YOU want something, or state that YOU want something, without me being reported and banned for "slander"! That's why. For that matter, multiple people do seem to want a bodytype like that. "Crushed". So, I think it's fairly safe to assume that "people" do want something like that. I meant to be speaking in general.

As I have said before, this thread is casual conversation to me. I have no real interest in actually playing female hrothgar, I have preferences, but if they decided to make a she-hulk hrothgar, it wouldn't effect me. I would just think it was a shame. Yeah, we are good, I don't care that much about this. This is killing time for me.

Because I have LITERALLY been banned before for "slander". It was the last time I stated someone liked, or wanted something, never again. I don't even use light "bad words", I am obsessive and paranoid about moderation on these forums, and this game in general. What you read of me here on these forums is not me actually speaking my mind.

Might be, but last night this was the only thread popping at 3 am or whatever, so why not post here? This is just continued from that conversation. If they did release femhroth looking like roe, almost nobody would play them, so I'd barely see them anyway. So meh, just a shame for what could have been; More diversity in player races. The wasted resources on a race/gender nobody plays would be a shame as well.

Im sure you may be lowballing it here, but just because a low percentage plays them doesn't mean 'Nobody' plays FemRoe. A low percentage plays Male Hrothgar and Roe, but that doesn't mean "Nobody" plays them. And you can't speak for other people, if they looked cool enough, I think that would factor in more then their bodytype which seems to be your focus. You and some may not be all into tall and wider girls, but if they had good customization options, that would overwrite the body.

It wouldn't be a waste if a good percentage of players were FemHroths. Not everyone in the datacenter needs to play Female Hrothgar to deem them a success.

No, I can (and do) exercise tact. I wasn't banned for what I would ever consider "inflammatory", on these forums. Neither were some others who were banned for "slander", who have shared banned email with me over discord. Some of my opinions, can just be... much stronger, than what I actually post here. Also, I had to change up my vocabulary to 'G' rated. That's all.

I think we can safely say that almost nobody plays femroe, at the very least. Like, we can all agree on that. Yes, "nobody" in reference to femhroth was an exaggeration. I don't think femhroth looking cool enough would ever make them that popular, MAYBE more popular than femroe, sure. Nor do I think some good customization options would be enough for most people to actually play a femhroth that look like a furry femroe.

What I meant by diversity in player races, I meant active player population. We would just continue seeing more of the same since, in my opinion, a femroe body would destroy the popularity of the race/sex long term. Meaning we would see so few femhroth, just as I hardly ever see femroes, so little variety in what you see while playing the game. Rather than diversity among the race selection. In practice, they might as well not exist. I think the impact on the game after adding the equivalent of a new player race in female hrothgar would then be not worth it, as only male viera would actually be popular at that point, and semi-worth the resource investment, in my opinion.

As for au ra or miqo'te 2.0 thing. SE themselves might as well have debunked that entire argument. reference:



As we can see, they are nearly as tall as that femroe. They would never be "small. and dainty" like au ra. The actual hrothgar queen looks proud, and aggressive. The female hrothgar representations next to the femroe, also have a more hourglass bodyshape, so we can probably rule out a femroe body, thankfully for the playerbase as a whole. I hope SE sticks to this design. It seems, I had no need to argue in the first place! Sometimes, I think it's a good thing when they don't look to just the forums for feedback, and do their own thing.

At the end of the day, yes thats what it will come down to. What the Devs decide to do. But just like the Male Viera crowd, people will speculate their opinion, until it happens.
Im not taking that mural as reference because its vague, and things can change in the end. Just like the original concept art of Au-ra.
Until I see a fully fleshed out and rendered 3D in-game model, its all speculation

some notes on hrothgals v femroe
slimmer, shorter (even more so since the mural seems to cut off the femroe at the ankles, but hrothgar has her feet), with prominent cat ears compared to the males
with this scientific analysis i can therefore conclude that they will be taller, bald miqote.

I remember it because it's basically the only visual media in this thread from someone other than me that acknowledges/ refs this art after the months of CLL being released. It is Male Viera all over again ... but I'm 100% sure that if the devs put art of them in game that directly compares them to any male in their size range they would go wild eating that up. Here? People who want masculine females want to ignore it as we can see so this convo goes in circles.

(and yes, you gotta be stupidly careful with what you say about people on this forum. I got banned for "slander" because I went into a troll thread and called out people in there for being racist ... :/ )

Hrothgar males, regardless of how people feel about them, were a success. They weren't made to be kitty popular. Numbers wise their active player numbers sit between male and female Highlander numbers and last I remember their numbers were higher than the entire Roe race combined (Because not only are they far more appealing and preferred over Roebros but Femroe numbers are just THAT low). Pretty good considering they're the most bunkers limited race in the game and the least human looking. I'd expect any conventionally attractive body type and pretty faced Hrothgar Female to shoot past Femroe in numbers and have a respectable size (Not to say they would be "Popular", it's just not hard at all to shoot past Femroe numbers given they're the least played anything in the game for such a clear reason)

Making a furry headed Femroe though? I think they wouldn't past 3k and the devs know this. Not because only 3k people would want to play a furry female but because the masculine shape is too much of a hurdle for people who want to play females. Tis why we got that art.

You can think what you want about the art and ignore it if you want to, but it's in no way the same as concept art.
Concept art is just taking a theme or idea early in development and trying to visualize it. It's a method of developing an idea that goes on behind the scenes. They would not put an underdeveloped, not thought out piece of art into the world and lore of this game attached to game content. They are not the same thing at all.

Yeah, I see Hrothgar just about everywhere I go, and that's aside from me playing one half the time. Not at the moment (again) but I will pick it back up eventually. But I do think their numbers have grown since the expansion's launch by quite a lot. Viera...sort of goes without saying. They are everywhere.

Concept art is just taking a theme or idea early in development and trying to visualize it. It's a method of developing an idea that goes on behind the scenes. Show me a fully fleshed out and 3D rendered, in-game model. Until you can, its all speculation.
