Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Its equally boring to suggest that Fantasy races should all be renegades against their culture.

It not like the rest of the race could still stick to their culture while the WoL is special anyways. Heck they even could use this for conflict by having NPCs react very different towards a male viera but seeing as just a page or two back someone listed all the stuff the game does not care about I honestly doubt that this would be the case.

Anyways Matsuno himself stated that he was not against male vieras thus it was not his decision to keep them out. Who knows maybe he would even be really existed about them too.

He would and he is. Some 5 or 6 hundred pages back people posted from his twitter when he kept retweeting male Viera fanart and even commisioned one himself. He's on board with the idea.

A thanks for the confirmation. I was not 100% sure if he was existed or if I remember it correctly but its great to know that he is.

This doesn't matter to me, honestly.

I want them to know how passionately I want this.

Lets all remember the bunny gold saucer set. People talked and asked them about it for like forever and at the end we finally go it. I am sure that if people had stopped earlier they would have just hoped that we did forget and not do it.

You mean the largest FFXIV echo chamber in the entire history of FFXIV? :P That aside, this is a glorified chat thread with like minded people, that is littered with the same arguments, senseless bumping, and loads of fanart. Not sure what was accomplished, but if you want to be proud of that cool.

Lets downplay all the different people that posted here over time. Also lets downplay the huge amount of Likes the first post has.

Also lets totally ignore how quite a few posts are from people coming here only to attack those that want to show their support in a support thread.

I am also not sure whats with the term echo chamber. So is it now wrong to have a topic where most that post have the similiar opinion? And as someone here from the start I honestly dont count it as one...Yes most people posting here are for it (its a support thread after all..) but we already had pages over pages with different views on how tall they should be, how they should look overall. If it was a pure echo chamber why would that happen?

But I guess instead of seeing it as proof that quite a few people would love male vieras we will just call it a echo chamber to put down all these different opinions.

Yeah I mean its their right to talk about their opinion its just really funny how seemingly only those that are for Viera are wrong or an echo chamber. But deep down its great that they post because they will keep the thread active too.

I cant wait for SE to finally announce wether we get them or not so the toxicity on this thread can die down after the initial kneww jerk reaction that's to come regardless of the response tbh

For some weird reason...I feel like in the scenario that they outright say "No Male Viera"
People will still be toxic, and people will still chant Male Viera; thinking if they continue to be loud about it, or even find new "louder" ways to give attention to it, that they could force/convince SE to make them.

Sure, people have proven they have no conviction about "Quitting" XIV over it.
But I feel like they would Ride or Die to push it in SEs face
