Wrongly worded, maybe, but the intent was to show how an item could get expensive. It wasn't me ruling out it as being the only way, nor was it me judging about this specific instance (since, gonna be real with you, I still don't know nor don't care about which items exactly we're on about. That's a very good reason for an item being expensive! Shame it has to do with what's being crafted, though, and not the materials used to craft it. In fact, this is even more of a reason to separate the two prices. Sure, the people selling the crafting mats might be able to get away with pricing it higher... but in the end, this has no effect on the value of the item crafted at the end of the process. People selling for 1mil could even be gathering it themselves, who knows? Especially if it's such an easy-to-obtain resource that people can bot the everloving daylights out of it (from what I've gathered in this thread).

Cheap crafting mats being sold for cheap prices... who knew.
