    I haven't joined a single group since I started doing it (currently lv9) and completed quite a few of the CEs. Outside of Red Chocobo most of them are not to bad once you figured out the attack patterns. (just make sure to have a healing action if your not playing a Healer)
    You can also just group up with other solo/light party players once you got into the CE, I see plenty of "lfg" in say chat once you enter the arena.

    The Lv10+ People are probably just trying to form a party in preparation for the Castrum CE so I wouldn't really worry about those.

    The only CE with level 10 is Castrum. Just join whatever CE is popping up for you and once you are in ask in say/tell for an invite. Beside Castrum, usually parties for the CEs are formed in the CE itself.

    Anyone else feel like SE hit peak "cutscene power loss" in Bozja?

    At this point, it's a trope in this game that in a cutscene the WoL loses their power. ESPECIALLY for healers, who it took until Stormblood to even be acknowledged as existing by the MSQ. But this was just absurd.

    Okay, Misija does another "do anything and I'll kill my hostage" move that we've seen a million times and is not very threatening to someone that can heal/shield/raise at will, but sure. At least she's in a position to do it...

    Until she kicks Mikoto across the room. Now we're doing what she says because she's threatening someone who is six feet away from her, and well outside of range of the weapon she's threatening with.... to someone who can cast RESCUE.

    Then we go along with all this stuff, things happen, and it ends when someone finally shows up and just bleeping shoots her (which is super effective). Well great, why didn't we do that five minutes ago? This could have been ended before it started if my suddenly "I only know how to club things with this staff" WHM WoL remembered she can cast Rescue, pulled Mikoto over behind her, and then the Blades blasted Misija to smithereens.

    I mean, I get they want to have some drama here, but "lol you have to stand there doing nothing when you could trivially solve this with the powers you had before this cutscene" is just lazy writing and it didn't land for me at all. They did it way better in the ShB MSQ, where it never felt like you were powerless because "cutscene".


    Castrum itself is pretty cool, though it definitely benefits from a couple of leaders that know what's going on.

    Well, again, I spent upwards of 12 hours in Bozja and didn't get a single chance at a solo fight after around 10 queue attempts.

    Something really ought to change sooner then later, and I'd prefer they just make it so that the queue opens up again for all of the remaining qualifiers whenever someone dies.

    Though I was more mad at the second part of that cutscene where I was like, really we have trouble blocking this? How many Primals/Ascians did we kill by now? We even merged with another WoL and we still can't easily handle that?

    My main complaint is that it's too good to complete the Relic outside of Bozjan. I don't mind that it's possible. But there shouldn't even be a debate about any step. It should all be faster and less RNG than outside of Bozjan. I also believe less things should be buyable from the market. It takes away a lot of the fun of grinding for your stuff when it's way more time efficient to just farm som gil and buy it.

    Yeah and it honestly took me out of the story quite a bit. These scenes are even more funny (in a sad way) if you are a machinist.

    All they had to change was to keep Mikoto within her range or to have the room full of snipers that are ready to take us out if we dont help. Which of course would make the ending a bit different since we would be more in danger..but again just keep the sword at Mikotos throat..problem solved.

    We are not alone, all the others (beside the tech girl) are great warriors..we could have simply overwhelmed her with numbers. Heck our character could have used a shield or something (we already have the animation for that) to protect Mikoto while the rest attacks her.

    Instead we help her out, create a new primal that could be a threat to the whole resistance (that we wont have to worry about because plot demands it...) and lose a big number of the main fighters..and who knows if those can be saved or not.

    Honestly if a bad guy wants to defeat us he just has to put our character in the "cutscene" and suddenly we are as weak and slow as a newborn kitten.

    I strongly dislike having to sacrifice whatever lost action I've assigned to duty actions because a job I switch to can't use them. They should be able to be equipped per job, especially with the restrictions they have.

    Solo encounters is another. Players are getting further in them now, but if they screw up once it's over. I can't express enough how lame this is. Is that all they can come up with to challenge players? Let them get nailed by a mechanic they have no idea how to avoid until a guide is released by someone with greater access to the fights?

    I want encounters that truly push players to use their resources, not make sure they have the right lost actions equipped. SAM lv60 quest anyone? Seriously SE. Stop punishing players with one shots. It's lazy as eff. You can do better.

    Oh god, yeah. Given how it does end, it would be even more absurd on MCH than it was for us healers. Way to disempower the main character by making them dumb as a bag of rocks in cutscenes?

    I wonder if it's like the "female arm grab" that renders characters powerless in anime. Go into a cutscene, and suddenly we need an NPC to rescue us because apparently job stones all shut off.
