Devaluation timer =/= lockdown timer. The timer that's keeping you from buying a plot (because the plot has been vacated somewhat recently) is invisible.I had waited 2 hours on one plot with another player just to see a total rando walk up to the plaque and place a house on a plot. I imagined this devaluation timer was specifically just so such cases wouldn't happen.
I now had just waited out a 6 hour timer on a different plot, only to see it RESET to another 6 hours. What is even going on? Do I literally have to camp a spot for 24 hours for a CHANCE to get a house? What's the point of the devaulation timer if it is not going to display correct information?
So if I understood this right, the only way to get a plot is to literally spam the plaque with purchase requests hoping the invisible timer runs out?
Aren't we all here of our own free will? It is a design feature implemented by SE. So it is working as intended, they have had time to review and work on that part of the system. Also I am lazy maybe some one else will do it. But maybe pull up the slide show from pre-arr when they talk about how a game is suppose to run.
Just a personal thing. But when other companies do garbage stuff it is fine. They don't say they are going to rain on your parade. But they don't pretend to be a saint and have people lined up to send them gifts.
