So if I understood this right, the only way to get a plot is to literally spam the plaque with purchase requests hoping the invisible timer runs out?
You did NOT pay for the entitlement to own a plot in the game, you paid for the right to use the service aka logging in and playing. The people who bought and already own house(s) are equally if not more entitled to their houses than you are to them for ANY reason or use. End of. Get over yourself. The Abuse lies in stinginess and not giving up land that others also paid for. Don't justify SE's Mistake by blaming them in the same sentence. The player(s) participated in wrongful acts knowing of the situation. one house is enough for one person one FC house is enough for the group of members. why don't the said people who have taken up plot spacing use apartments aswell? its free to everyone just as housing in its fullness. use common sense not deluded judgements.
This. The entitlement by other players to steal someone elses' virtual property is repugnant. If something like this bothers you so much you need to take enjoyment away from someone else, then go outside or play another game. You did NOT pay for the entitlement to own a plot in the game, you paid for the right to use the service aka logging in and playing. The people who bought and already own house(s) are equally if not more entitled to their houses than you are to them for ANY reason or use. End of. Get over yourself.
I wish we can just cast our character name, and get a notification if we the plot. if one person acquired a plot, his/her name will be removed from other registration. And the person relocating character name is also cast. If you already own a property(account wide), or your FC does, your chances will be even lower. Almost similar to Need/Greed loot system.
I didn't do anything wrong. I followed the rules and scrambled like everyone else. Many times I've waited on house timers and lost. I understand why you are upset but you gotta understand I drink tears for a living.
This is beyond ridiculous!
You know, sometimes housing system can seem unfair when they don't have unlimited space, because you're a new player and don't have all the money to buy one. So you play up to a point when you can finally do it, but you have to wait for a house to be empty to get one. Square managed the unthinkable and make the worst of both worlds. In which you have the situation of being new, but also the situation of having the resources but not being able to buy one because of a random RNG system that serves nothing, but to lock you out of the buying option.
Might as well not even play the game between expansions. What's the point if there's nothing to sank all the gil in?
Guess I ruffled a few feathers of those with a house and a few FC homes?
