    What they should have done was disable relocation of plots for 24 hours.
    That would have stopped trolls and those that rush to get a plot and relocate, so it induced timers.
    But again it was still fare from enough.
    When I went to log in. on the time of scheduled reopening (give or take what difference there is on my clock and SE's server clocks) there was more in queue to get online then there was even plots up for grab

    What they should have done is removed the relocation timer, because randomly blocking people from swapping houses is a wretched bandaid designed to discourage bot trading when this problem is trivially solved by autoscaling.
