6.0 summoner ideas

My current hopes are that the next new DPS job they release turns out to be a DoT-oriented caster, so that they can alleviate SMN of its split focus on DoTs and instead concentrate on its core summoning.

So you would have your Egis or Carbuncles as constant sources of damage in place of DoTs, and then your main rotation would be about empowering/commanding your active pet and using Aetherflow to briefly summon other Primal-Egis as single attacks (similarly to Yuna in Dissidia), culminating in the Demi-Primals as major cooldowns.
Tri-Disaster could then be reworked into something like an attack that briefly summons multiple Egis at once to perform a coordinated assault (since it originally was an attack that dealt multi-elemental damage).

I'd also like to see some reworking to the Egis we have, too. Maybe another Egi devoted to single-target so you're swapping between Ifrit and it to attack, and a rework to Titan to include more personal survival tools like changing its AoE into a radial stun or a Landslide.

And yes, I agree DWT should be combined with Demi-Bahamut, just like FBT is with Demi-Phoenix. Could possibly even see a rework to DWT so that it changes attacks similarly to FBT does while it's active.
