You're really just setting yourself up for disappointment here. People have been saying they could make any and every one of these unique mounts a quest reward; from the Carbuncles to the Spriggan. They aren't going to. Even if they did eventually want to put a unique mount like this into the game, you certainly wouldn't be getting it for a fifteen minute quest but through a lengthily grind you otherwise wouldn't want to partake in. Case in point, Astrope. The whole idea being to incentivize content.

At this stage, SE is well aware of people's divisive opinions on the Mogstation. They either don't care and/or said opinions aren't enough to offset how many people are either indifferent or willing to purchase whatever item tickles their fancy. Either way, it isn't going to change and we'll be right back here the next time they release a new mount and people pitch a fit over it.

Oh I know but that doesnt mean that I wont post my opinion anyways. Even if it will never be heard or ignored by them but at least I can say to myself that I have done anything that I could have done. And who knows...if maybe the backlash is enough (just like with housing) they might at least decrease the amount of money it would cost which would be at least a small little victory.

People just shutting up and not saying anything at all might just make it even worse..so yeah sry but I will continue to post my opinion.

Right, because there's total correspondence between a loan shark and a simple offer of "I give you an item, you give me money in return". I feel like SE actually does these on purpose so that the obvious outraged crowd can crawl out of the woodwork with their manufactured outrage and get schooled by any other average player. Oh wait, I mean any other whale.

"All the time we got an increase in sub" - when were those exactly? Because I've been playing since early HW and I'm still paying the same sub. Google doesn't show anything about sub rises. And the regional pricing are completely different matters.

And now we've gone into "buying 1 mount means you're a whale" again. Because I'm sure SE is releasing enough mounts for a steady income...

PSA - spending 1 cent in the cash shop means you're now a whale and you should just take harassment from freeloaders and shut up.

Its still funny that they included that kind of theme while releasing the most expensive mount at the same time. Even if ingame it was a loan shark..it was still about the money.

Sorry about the increase in sub, I meant the increase in numbers. Last we heard, that we got like 1 million active subs..that is one huge amount of money..then the amount of money they make with each expansion, then the amount of money alone for fantasia, retainers and other such services...I am sorry if that is not enough to finance the game any further than this game is doing horrible bad..and if SE takes too much money away from them then maybe Yoshida, who is on the board of directors, should put a foot down for their cash cow.

Where did I say that you are a whale? I said that people might want to watch a certain video that is titled that way that is done by a CEO, who knows exactly how the industry messes with their customers to get the most amount of money. The INDUSTRY calls certain people that way. Its a sad fact...I want people to know that there is a huge possibility that all those talk about the cash shop being necessary is just PR talk..you can buy whatever you want of course but people really should stop trying to defend their purchases as if they are doing good deeds for the company. Just stand up to your purchase, its fine.

Quest reward? Mount for 4 players as a reward for 15min quest?
Its just a pure cosmetic thing, 4 person mounts have no use outside of Eureka or Rp maybe, and even if, we already had 2 in game.
Yes one of them is Regalia which isnt avaible now, but the other one is realtively easy to get, of course if a person want it and are aware that it require a bit of work.
You people really want everything handed to you on silver plate....

Are you know saying that paying real money is now considered work? At least if they are a quest reward, people needed to play the game to get it. Now you just need to open your wallet. ö_Ö I dont see how that is in any form some kind of work.

And its not like they had to put it behind the quest either..we got a certain "new" content with the unreal trials..you know instead of putting that unicorn behind it, they could have used that mount for it. That would have been work and a good reward.
