And no he did not only talk about the savage mount. His anwer was directly to me (and others) saying that this could have been a perfect quest rewards which in his opinion was not enough work for that. And if paying rl money for a digital good is work then doing it in a quest is work too. You have to after all pay real life money for the sub and the expansion and on top of that have to play the game in some kind of way.

And I was talking about giving the mount out with the recent event quest which afterwards he said that with the current four seaters in the game we dont need that and that it would be less work. Which I answered that I dont see it as less work if you only buy it. (Also my point still stands..why would the existance of other four seaters in the game stop it from being something from the game too? We dont stop getting new one seater mounts even if we already have quite a few of them)

So yes I read the stuff before I post. Also if me posting about my opinions makes you so angry that you need to attack me like that maybe its better to step away from the thread a bit. Unlike some others I dont call people bootlickers and other names. I only point out how the industry see certain people..I also said more than once that I am fine with people spending money on these things, I own cash shop items too...I am not fine with what SE is doing. (And as a collector this stuff does effect my game because mounts and pets are rewards for content which I now cant get if I dont spent money..and every unique mount put directly in the cash shop is one reward less that could have increased the life of ingame content...)

A system I wish would be in the game itself. Those of us with real income to spend on that but less time ingame can buy them and sell the stuff too (earning themselves huge amount of Gil without farming for it) while the rest of us may buy it from them. Win Win for both sides. At least this gives people a chance to get it by playing the game.

Or give it to people as a limited sub time reward and then stick it in the mog station..here people can sub and get it as a thank you and still buy it later if they missed it.

I never played WoW so I have no clue how exactly it functions but I have heard that you can buy these items ingame from other plays for gold or something? Anyway I would also be fine if we got two different colors for each mount and one goes to the game and the other goes to the cash shop..heck I would be fine if the one ingame was a one-seater and the one in the cash shop with more seats.

Yeah the veteran rewards (they could reset them after every expansion and put the old ones behind achievement points for the newer players to get them) or like that one mount, where you got it if you sub a certain amount in a certain time period. You still have to pay them money by paying your sub but you get at least something out of it. And later it can land in the mog station for a reasonable price..this way anyone can get it even if they missed it and SE gets people subbed inbetween patches.

Some of the items Blizz sells/sold on the cash shop are tradeable to other players. (If you are talking about the subscription token, then yeah, that's exclusively bought for cash to sell for gold, but I'm talking about items.) I used to be really into the battle pet scene on WoW. As in, at one point I had the second ranked pet collection on my server (calculated based on number of unique pets, pet levels, and pet quality.) I was never able to take the top spot though, because I didn't want to shell out hundreds of dollars of real money for the cash shop pets (don't even get me started on the trading card pets.) I actually acquired one of my few cash shop pets by trade. I, who had more free time on my hands, completed a horrendous in-game grind for a different pet, then traded that pet for a cash shop pet from a friend who had more disposable income but not as much free time to do the grind.

That's generally how I view cash shops- the only real currency is time. So I ask myself if an item is worth the time I spent working for my real money? Is there something similar in-game that I can spend my time grinding for? Which would I rather spend my time on?
