Funny, the thread only has 9 pages (yet) for me. Must be a special version of the forums, for people who throw tantrums when others don't bend over backwards for them.

WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?

The number of pages likely depends on the settings and the device you are viewing the forum on. Who exactly has tantrum?

Uh, there's this thing called sarcasm... Yeah.
That would be the person who keeps quoting me and replying with gibberish. A really upset fellow.

I don't know. I find being called disgusting among other things, simply for disagreeing, to be a rather strong reason to be abrasive.
And now I'm a troll. Because I didn't cater to the contradiction party of the "challenging QTE that isn't challenging".

Tell me then, do you feel the difference between challenging game mechanics and an QTE that causes pain?

There.. are 35 pages, I've looked through about 10 of them. I'm not seeing a whole lot other than you misrepresenting peoples arguments .. either on purpose or accidentally (I don't know you).
I'm guessing somewhere in there someone is calling you disgusting for (possibly) disregarding people with disabilities... .. if you could correct me I'd be appreciative since I'm really not invested enough to re-read the whole thread.
The point everyone is trying to make that you seem to be twisting into: "you're contradicting yourselves", is that the QTE is a bland, uninspired and restrictive way to add difficulty that most don't find difficult and the few that WOULD (I.E. those with actual disabilities and limits on their inputs) find it difficult cannot overcome it in any way. They cannot be carried through it and they are holding back 7 others simply because they cannot mash a button fast enough.
Why is there this sudden all or nothing mechanic in a story gating instance? Why is it purely focused on a mechanical input with no alternatives for those who are physically restricted?
