No more QTE please.

QTEs are OK, but I don't think this is really a game for them. Back in Resident Evil 4 sure, but here it's almost universally "Press X to Not Die" except, ironically, for the first implementation of it (Cruise Chaser in A11). It's either "break out of chains" or for tanks "hold off the attack" except Cruise Chaser, and button mashing isn't what QTEs are supposed to be about.

Past that I agree that the 5.3 Trial QTE is terribad. I play on PS4 and it takes a lot of effort (mashing every button on the controller, including the D-pad and shoulder buttons) to keep it from bottoming out. Combine that with one person failing meaning the whole fight starts over again, and you've got a recipe for annoyance. (I mean, I never failed it myself, but I can see why other people would.)

Sweep your fingers across the keyboard. Wouldn't need to press buttons that way. Heck that might work with a controller, too.

It could very well be that you're not trying the technique, though. It's going to be at least until next patch before they remove anything (if they remove anything at all) so bitching about me offering tips/solutions is just refusing help at this point. If joint pain is an issue then gliding your fingers across the pad or keyboard should be pretty effective. It's how I button spammed for other games. If you want to tell me how that wouldn't work then feel free because otherwise I'm just going to take it as "I don't want to even try".

I mean I agree they should make it so one person failing doesn't mean everyone should fail (or maybe they can just get rid of ATEs all together) but who knows how long it could take them to change it?

For me [I speak as someone who was literally in pain after clearing the trial and I too have terrible fine motor skills/coordination] I would be fine with them removing the wipe mech because even if I fail it, I get raised and move on, it isn't a big. The wipe mech, *for me* is the biggest issue with it because I don't feel my entire party should be punished if I or another team member with disabilities fail the thing.

But I can see how some of the others might not feel that way and that is completely understandable.

I am probably going to get railed by the forum community for this, but I don't care at this point. What is said on here isn't life impactful anyway...

I can understand your point of view as a person with physical problems who has played hard content in another game for a long time. People told me that I couldn't do something, but I did. But that was my personal choice. And it was hard content. And also there people used the DPS meter and the GCD was reduced to 1.3 seconds. And you know, it was difficult for me (people asked why I can't hit keys as fast as they do, because it's so easy, or why I'm a clicker, because clickers suck players, so they said), but I chose this path myself.

Here people don't choose, they just want their story. Yes, without difficulties and without the need to go through pain and prove something to someone. They are forced to overcome physical, rather than game, difficulties, moreover, in a regular story quest. And this is the essential difference.
