So you're not going to show me that specific part? It shouldn't be difficult if it's actually there.
Why do you seem so defensive all of a sudden? I asked you for a bit of clarification because I didn't understand what you said, and you only acknowledged me to insult me. Interesting.
Analogous: Do you consider stairs challenging? Someone in a wheelchair would.
Also: Button mashing is a very lazy and boring way to add "difficulty" especially since most of the playerbase passes it once they figure out you can push all the buttons.
The problem is they have a lazy addition of "difficulty" which isn't all that difficult to most of the playerbase but is insurmountable by the few who cannot physically repeatedly smash buttons.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
No, I did not insult you, do not exaggerate. I just said you couldn't read. What's bad about it? You can handle this on your own. This person confuses the concept of a game challenge and pain symptoms in people who are physically unable to cope due to disability.
Falling down the stairs isn't challenging to do. It doesn't mean it isn't painful. You're making one huge false equivalency there my guy. Spamming the buttons isn't challenging from a skill perspective. It's challenging from a pain perspective because it causes my hands to literally lock up from the hurt it's causing.
There are people in this thread who seem to think the QTE is challenging from a skill perspective. People are offering actually challenging skill equivalents that don't cause physical difficulties. The one where each person has their own mob to deal with and a DPS check was a pretty good alternative honestly.
Question: are you mashing, or casually tapping? Once again, the QTE in 5.3's trial is deceptive and easier than it appears. You only need to casually press a button(s) to clear it, not mash.
Video proof (spoilers).
Oh, really?
Can you show me a quote of JohnSpawnVFX saying a "game challenge should involve real physical pain"? That's all I'm asking. There's a lot being said and flung around, and I didn't see that in what you originally quoted that I replied to, so I was asking for clarification. And instead you avoided it. Pretty simple request, if it exists anyway.
