It's an annoying added stress point in the game where even the most stingy person can lose all their anima in a single day, let alone lose a large chunk to a mistaken teleport. This is why I think the anima system in itself is flawed.

I also think there are too many teleport locations. There is hardly a need for chocobos and airships because you'll probably teleport right next to your destination or right on top of it. They should make main teleporting hubs and/or multiple kinds of fast travel that get you to different kind of destinations.

I do not however think giving a single class all the teleports is the answer like they did in FFXI. This game is different and leveling a class does not take that long. Unless they gave teleport at max level everyone would just level that class to have the teleports whenever they wanted.

There you go! Some legitimate points against anima for you to discuss.
    the bold....

its simple, common decency dictacts the person who made the damn party do it, its your party, your responsibility

i personaly hate it when people invite me to something and then beg others to teleport cuz they have no anima....

in the end taking them away will make people walk, ALOT, which will annoy the hell out of people more then not having enough anima.

not only that, itl begin an era of people only inviting you to parties if you can stay a long time(hours) due to the fact they dont want to have to run new people out since they cant teleport

and giving teleports to any specific class is a bad idea, the entire reason they didnt do it for 14 was so that any 1 class didnt have that kind of power over others

First of all, common decency doesn't dictate anything. And this 'common' decency is really not that common. I made that comment about how people fear being chosen to teleport because it's an actual problem. I haven't seen a leader volunteer to teleport in a long time. During events like ifrit or moogle it is required to teleport many times, the leader doesn't teleport everytime and you may not be in a party long enough for everyone to pay thier 'dues'. Why was it ever the leader's responsibility in the first place? Are you really demanding this person do everything for you? They're the one who set up the event and you're so lazy you can't even teleport for them?

I'm sorry, I don't care if you find it annoying that you have to walk. At least it's not stressful, at least you don't have to worry in a party that you have no anima and you might be making people upset for that fact. Walking is just part of the work to get something done in this game, just like anything in real life and in game. You can't have fun without investing something. Usually that something is time and effort. Video games are not an exception. The anima system punishes you for working harder, just like the old surplus system did. NO ONE liked that, why support this.

And PLEASE give me an era where people actually stay in parties. I'm tired of parties disbanding when one person decided they only had ten minutes. I miss the days in online gaming where I could invest the time to put together a party and actually see a profit. Now days as soon as someone gets bored or get what they want, they decide to bail. I've already gone into detail how this community lacks decency, and this is another aspect of it. BUT THIS IS ALL BESIDES THE POINT. Taking away anima would not even create this. In the case they do take away anima, we are all suggesting another system be brought in. MEANING: there would still be fast travel!! Also! It gets better! Square Enix gave us chocobos!! The so called hours it takes to get places with chocobo is actually at max about fifteen minutes. Yes, that's a random statistic, but in my defense I have timed my journeys to broken water while doing crafting leves, and from ul dah to broken water it is TEN MINUTES. If you're worried that ten minutes is significantly lowering your amount of playtime, you probably need to find a better game to suit your lifestyle, not an MMO. As for things in Coerthas? Please give us a fast travel there. If anything a five minute airship ride. Bring back the Kazham experience, a home away from home for the levelers.

We are talking about 2.0. They can come up with much better ideas than anima for it. I like to think of anima as something that we deal with now before they chug out a better system and before the game areas drastically change. But I dread that it might stay in the game long afterwards.

There are too many things not anima related in this post to feasibly respond. You cite no solid evidence for any of the claims that you make. Just because you caps lock your opinion doesn't make it any more well supported.

We're talking game design. Trying to pretend like anima isn't a part of game design and doesn't effect the whole of the game and it's direct aim is a silly argument.

Also I didn't caps lock my opinion, I held shift. And larger text is more likely to get people to read it. I'm not trying to insert my opinion as fact, I'm trying to show that a point is arguable. I'm trying to show that there are two different sides to this coin. I'm simply here to counter people with attitudes like yours who wish to stomp on anyone who disagrees with you and claim it's stupid and unjustified.

I've said my bit, and if all I've done is earned a few likes, so be it. I have gotten my points across now and people can see it. The developers will read it and decide for themselves now, not you and your overbearing statements.
