I'm not saying the new system is easier, by many metrics it's harder to optimise, which if anything is more challenge, more skill, rather than just RNG.
Okay yeah so the only reason the new system isn't judged like the old system is because of the changes that have occured due to how dps is measured now. People judged how cards were used before because under the old ranking system ast cards would improve the person recieving the cards dps ranking. Under the new changes how ast uses their cards only effects the asts damage ranking due to how rankings now operate on RDPS not DPS. If we had the old system under the new climate people simply wouldnt care as much because how the ast uses their cards won't effect their rdps ranking, only the asts.
