No, you don't have the right or power to stop people from leaving ANY instance for ANY reason. They accept the time-out for doing so and that's the end of that. It isn't about 'winning', it's about 'You are not entitled to people's time OR to try and force them to do something they do not want to do.' That's all there is to it. Get over yourself, please. Stop trying to dictate and control what other people do.
