There is next to no Water, very little Earth/Wind and nothing plant based at all.
  • The only true representation water spells have is Suiton; otherwise there is Fluid Aura (lol), and what is available on BLU (if you want to count it).
  • The only abilities representing earth are Doton, Verstone, Fists of Earth, and Titan-egi (lol).
  • Wind representation is somewhat well supported at least with NIN, RDM and SMN via Huton, Gust Slash, Aeolian Edge, Veraero I+II, and Garuda-egi; honorable mention to Fists of Wind and by way of casting animations for Cure spells.

In contrast, fire, thunder, and ice are represented almost everywhere you look (especially if you have a BLM in the party).

So ideally, for me, the next job would have a major focus on water and earth - with plants matching that theme as a mechanic (there is an underused Leaf line of spells in FF's history to boot).
According to the lorebook Lord Hien's father dispatched groups of Geomancers and Ninja to the moongates in Yanxia to use wind magic to bring down the airships that were invading. It worked! But only for a short time. I would say those two classes lore wise are probably the most adept lore wise at handling Aero spells.

I personally would kill for a water line of spells. Every time monsters use it I get so jealous.
