I'm not tied into a higher tier subscription until the end of the games life or until I stop playing, because there's no way you can decrease your sub tier.
Just because I wanted one item.
Say I play this game for another 3 years, 36 months, and that higher tier subscription is an extra... $5.
36 x 5 = $180... for a single mount...
Adding to this...even if there was an ability to lower your subscription later...you still paid extra to get that mount/One item. So what did you do differently by paying for a Higher Tier Sub for a month for an item, that you couldn't just get from the cash shop? You still paid extra for it.
