Shiva is mostly a self summon closely aspected to Light [Hydaelyn] (as Ice) and means to defend the "newer beings" (the dragons). She is rebelling/rallying in the name of peace and feels she knows best.

I think some of the best basis for RPing is when our character isn't the warrior of light; we're just our own random adventurer or tradesman trying to live our lives. While there are still some weird things (like the weird time bubble stuff with how much time has passed since the Praetorium) it gives you a good appreciation to how much the team has done to organically build its world, and gives you a lot to work with about certain headcanons and where your character fits.

Thancred and Y'shtola dated for a few months when they were seventeen and it went disastrously wrong and Thancred knows it's mostly his fault but they've never talked about it or gotten closure and everyone knows about it but no one brings it up.

It explains everything.

Yet they can still maintain at least a working business relationship. Don't ever put them together though.

I personally imagine that Auri can growl like crocodiles when they’re mad, including the smol She Ras so many a poor ignorant Westerner has the shit scared out of them when a cute little lizard girl suddenly growls VERY MENACINGLY.

And in a similar vein, they can sorta purr with that noise, even if it’s not “true purring” like little cats and Miqos. More like a big cat’s sawing, but still.
