Speaking personally, I got to 60, and didn't do anything else. The spells I unlocked on the road weren't nearly enough to make me want to go for other, harder to get ones.

The positive changes they've made are good, but for something that might see one patch every two years, they needed a few more "Wows" out the gate to get me back into it.

Well yeah, right now it is dead, 2 days before a major patch. That's to be expected of any content. That's just the lull period that we endure at the end of every odd numbered patch.

Is there a way to see that thread in English? I can't read Japanese and I'm curious what the rest of those numbers mean.

Is the activity higher again post patch?

I did my weekly log on Tuesday and it was quick to fill, but thats just anecdotal, take from it what you want. The PF right now is mostly edensverse and cinder drift, so I wouldn't say that the 5.2 patch shift is any less than it was last week.

Morbol mount is gotten for clearing the final raid boss of each tier on BLU, i.e. completing BLU's endgame. Its pretty interesting to see it compared to see PVP compared to Blue though, clearly a lot more measurable engagement

Mounts in general are an interesting comparison. I was surprised to see that so few people owned the GNB mount.

GNB is waning in popularity amongst tanks ATM, in favour of PLD and DRK, as of this week theres signficantly less clears of the new eden on GNB. Also I think some people just forget lol, I know I've got the achievement I just cant be bothered to pick the mount up because the only mounts I use are the raid mounts and my chocobo

I wished that the Aetherial Mimicry affected more spells so they'd have more benefits for roles. For example, Tank would remove the damage reduction penalty for Mighty Guard, shortened the casting time of Diamondback, or increase the the radius of Flying Frenzy. Healer would increase the range of Exuviation, decrease the cooldown of Angel Whisper, and change Transfusion from incapacitating the caster to reducing their Health and MP by 90% instead, which would leave just enough MP that they could Pom Cure themselves.

For the Weekly Prime Target, it's possible to beat Thornmarch EX in roughly 2 minutes if you're working with a group of Blue Mage:

For BLU I've a few casual ideas:

Have certain Logos Actions (like Rapid Recast) be available as Blue Magic.

Change the glamor rules so that they can glamor gear up to 20 levels above theirs (same applies for future limited jobs) but make sure they have a caster of the appropriate level first.

More BLU canes, preferably dyable, as I mentioned on other threads

Allow them to be used in Squadron dungeon missions

Lastly a specialized DF Roulette for Bluemages that pair them with other BLUs
