I think the job is pretty great. I've completed all there is to do with BLU, and got my Morbol mount. That said, a few adjustments that's be nice;

1. A system that allows one to more easily find roles for mimicry. Popular option is by way of housing item of some nature.

2. Tanks could use a oGCD defence so as to not have DB as their only option when tanking.

3. A single target provoke would allow an easier method to tank swap.

4. Healers could use a aoe heal that is weaker than ww, or have a regen of some description.

That's the only bits that are glaringly obvious to me. Minor things for sure.

I came back to the game a couple days ago, and it didnt take long to go from 50-60, and beat the 5 new blue carnival stages. Outside of doing the log for allied seals that I dont really need, Blue mage once again exists in this place where theres nothing you can do, which is disappointing, it's one of the most fun jobs to play.

I did a couple undersized with one level 80 fc member after sitting in pf for a few hours trying to make a proper group without getting a single hit. Obviously it was lackluster.

No one I've found, including myself if I'm being honest, really wants to do old content, for no real reward. It just feels redundant, as the job was built to be played solo, in the masked carnival, and to only release 5 stages that take such little effort to beat is a big bummer as were unlikely to get anymore end game content for blue mages for a long time.

I don't know what your data center is like but here on Primal, BLU was extremely popular for a long time.

The issue you have right now is your decided to do all this content 2 days before 5.2, when the game is at its biggest lull. Of course you won't get anywhere

Extremely popular is a bit of a stretch, the far right column is the number of people on each datacenter who have gotten the morbal mount, obviously this not counting people who are running other content but for perspective in the best cases BLU has had Half as many people clear it on some datacenters than have cleared ultimate or in some cases <1% of the active datacenter population.

As someone on EU Light I see maybe 1 maybe 2 PFs fill a day for BLU content if youre lucky, and if you arn't queuing with the BLU discord at their time your pf basically wont fill for weekly target. Some of the active members there even estimated it takes 6+ hours for pfs to fill on average. It has been this way for over a month.

BLU was absolutely dead on my Data Center within 2 weeks of release. Only 3 people in my entire FC even leveled one to 60. It looks like it has potential to be fun, but a pittance in Allied Seals just isn't an incentive.

I imagine it was popular being new, but not even one patch later it's dead, and that's problematic to a job only getting content once a year.

People are still running eden 1-4 savage and its older.

So I ran a few solo dungeon runs today, level 50s going back for spells I haven't gotten yet.

And it is remarkably satisfying to Level 5 Death a whole pack of trash. Was also pleasantly surprised at the bosses I was able to Missile down as well.

It may still be unfortunate that it's not widely usable. But, I think it's still pretty fun to have leveled for doing stuff in older zones if I'm ever passing through. And I certainly enjoy the puzzle of figuring out how to handle new Carnival stages.

Putting together BLU parties is too much of a hassle. Can we get a roulette system for BLU please?
