    If you like it, great.
If you don't, that's not so great, but the point of view is just as valid. I would assume that a game developer would actually want people to play their game, so feedback as to why someone doesn't like a part of the game is just as important (maybe more so) as receiving feedback as to why someone likes a part of the game.

It might be too emotional for your tastes, but if someone is expressing this much distaste for a game, it would be in the developer's best interests to hear more about it and figure out if there's something to improve over it. So this is, very much, valid feedback.
And I fundamentally disagree with that. Making yourself look like a miserable person who wants to actively be detrimental and toxic to other players is not the same thing as having grievance and feedback over a game you want to see improve. All it makes you look like is that you need to take a break and find something you actually enjoy.

On the other hand, having an emotional response shows you have passion for the product. Meaning you're the kind of person who WANTS to stick around and continue to play the game.

While, being actively toxic might not be the best way to convey your feelings, it's at least more informative than just silently leaving with nary a word about why you did.

Honestly, yeah. SE is missing out on a ton of potential feedback about the game and the systems through such simple things.

When releasing new experimental content (Or looking at old, dead content *cough*FATES*cough*), provide an optional survey for players who participate to fill out. So you can find out what people liked and what they didn't.

In addition, having beta tests available for content they're working on where people can submit feedback prior to its full release (Though, I get that this would require more server space and thus comes back to the fact that Papa SE won't give FFXIV the funding it deserves...)

Of course, one of the prohibitive aspects of this, is translation... Given that everything would need to be translated to Japanese and then be sifted through to consolidate the views down (So Yoshida doesn't have to read the same thing a thousand times)...
