As for the comment regarding them changing it. Of course, they can, literally, the only thing that describes them is one supposed comment from a female Viera saying they're 'mad' and 'muscular' - which I'm hunting down to find. And of course the lore from FF14. Which doesn't have a descriptive in their physical appearance. Only their cold personality. They shoot to kill.

Anyway, we know they're there and we know they're having children. Since a pixie literally said they're scared of Vii children. Perhaps, just perhaps we might see one. Seeing as they seemed to have lessened their workload. Only one dungeon next patch, we will see. They're adding in a lot more lore going by the previous stream they had.

I'm unsure why people have such an aversion to them being fierce. The female Viera as they are now can be described as fierce.

I am not sure if you need to do the work to search for that quote if its not something in FF14. As long as they have not shown us a male or describe it in FF14 any other game should not count as a way to show how they are.

I also dont have anything against them being fierce. (Which kinda just mean aggressive anyway) I just dont like it that some posters seemingly see being fierce as a confirmation to them needing to be big and muscular. We have fierce female Au Ra (look at Sadu) and yet they are small and teenager-like in their look.

In the end there is right now nothing in the lore or ingame that would go against many of the very different wishes (the only one confirmed to not be the case is them looking more like children) on how the males should look and its a fantasy game too, so I see no reason why people cant just simply write down their version of it without being seen as someone that hijacks a race.

Edit: And again I am not sure why we are using FF12 armor here (and honestly it does not look barbaric to me) because we already have a starter set for Vieras ingame and it looks more like they are ready to go to a model show than to fight all the time in a forest.

Fierce in quotes, as most associate fierce to mean a narrower sense of everything it actually encompasses, like bloodthirstiness, cruelty or hostility, though still not limited to what I've just listed here. A shot does not necessarily mean fatal - animals and people alike have survived wounds that should be fatal, like behind shot through the head, especially with a more basic projectile such as an arrow.

I am not sure why shooting an animal with one arrow (and no matter if some can survive wounds or not, most will probably die if they are hit in certain areas) counts as aggressive, bloodthristy, cruel or hostil. They are just shooting them down. I would even say that being able to kill an animal with one arrow is even kind since the animal does not have to suffer for long.

I mean hunters in our world that kill animals with one shot wont count as fierce?
