For me I have played multiple MMO's spanning 15+ years at this point and I know a good developer and I know bad ones with excuses. Your criticism of the end game raiding makes me question if you have ever been in progression guilds before because putting content on farm and rinse/repeating has been the norm since 2004 no matter the MMO's. Except for some very rare exceptions most bosses have been on a set AI with set mechanics.

Pvp to be honest with you as someone who literally just picked up the game again after leaving during Beta/Launch in like September and leveled fresh I have NO CLUE how to even access pvp in this game. There are several areas of this game that I learned I just never unlocked as I went through the content but nowhere does it tell you unlocking stuff in Mor Dhana a level 50 zone from Realm Reborn affects what you can actually do at level 80 in Shadowbringers. It seems like a failure of development to atleast give a new player a tip box that says "hey go do that quest or content will never be unlocked".

As for me on the PVE side of things suffering through WoW's constant pruning of Paladins it has been HEAVEN SENT to play a class again for tanking that has utility. It is beyond refreshing to me and actually fun to tank again.
