Again why does getting so many more options mean everyone one is going to wear the same thing? Running away from the question doesn't help your argumentI'm done responding here... but having some things that are for a specific roles makes that gear unique for that role. It increases the diversity because not everyone can wear it. It's not a question of having every role wearing the SAM YORHA top that makes it more diverse. It just makes people look the same and I'm not in favor of that. We got at great Level 1 glamor coffer. I think that was wonderful. I also think it's wonderful that some items are role specific.
Have fun getting them to change it. If they do fine but not something I'm in favor of.
I'm glad you shared your opinion with us and while I may not agree with you, I can see your viewpoint. There is enough diversity among the designs which means that not everyone would be wearing the same one.I'm done responding here... but having some things that are for a specific roles makes that gear unique for that role. Even though they probably won't change it, I at least hope they consider it!
Why should the NieR:A stuff be the special one to be role unrestrictive, what about the new PvP set that has 3 colours of the same outfit, most healer and caster sets, even among the 7 sets they currently design for they tend to have a reskin somewhere (usually 2) so the NieR:A set isn't unique in its reusing an outfit more than once. If they did it for one they may feel pressured to do them for everything, and if they do decide to unlock them all, what are you willing to give up for it? more unique glam outfits in the future? Hairstyles? If the devs did it during their spare time it would be one thing but they shouldn't have to give up their spare time just so there was no resource cost for SE. They have done plenty already in their own time, if this request was to be followed through i want it at no expense to anything we are meant to get (the stuff they have a vague idea but haven't finalized yet) nor start diminishing the amount of different outfits we get per set of gear.H
Oh no, don't get me wrong - I absolutely agree with that! I love more gear options for each class but in this case, I think an exception could be made. Tanks and healers already share the same model (at least in the female version) as well as the Ranged DPS and NIN/MNK (At least the top halves). It's an exception that could benefit everyone. Adding a currency could increase the playability of the raid and it is a collaboration, so exceptions can be made!
Guy butt is best butt <3
The OP is not asking for everything, but this specific set of gear since they lack any determining characteristic for a specific role... At best, everything just feels like caster gear.
I'm for it, having to work with class restrictions when making outfits is just a pain.
When I finally got the dress, the corset was the first thing that stuck out. Looking at it directly from behind really makes it look strange. When I'm running with it on I'm afraid of suddenly snapping in half.(Am I the only one creeped out by how thin the waists on the dresses are? I tried on the caster dress expecting to be bothered by the cleavage window, and instead all I could think was how unnatural the waist looked. I get that corsets are a thing some people find appealing, but not me.)
I can understand not wanting glams unlocked when they look the part. I really do (I, myself, I'm a "paladins must be wielding holy swords/hammers and gotta wear something that looks like it came from the clergy" purist) but when there's barely a distinction like the Yorha raid stuff or when it's clothes that don't really convey any real job identity like a lot of the shared glams in the game, I find it hard to support role locking.
*Falls in love with the caster set in the dressing room as a healer thinking, "I really wish I could wear this..."*
*Remembers that all jobs can be leveled on a single character and thinks, "Ohhhhh! I can wear it!"
*queues up as SMN*
I wish they'd just get rid of the glamour restrictions. FFXI's Llockstyle does it right. If you have the job lvl'd and can equip it you can glamour it. Also you can edit your glamour plates "equipment sets" anywhere, not just in your mog house, and you can change your glamour anywhere, not just in town.
Nope. Nope nope nope. Homogeneity is boring. You want that glam, work for it, it will keep you busy and do content instead of being afk in Limsa showcasing your generic glamour ( because you know, everyone and their porxie will wear the same thing... oh wait, it's already happening with the Nier outfit box).
Which same thing? Which one of the sets, given all of them would be available?Nope. Nope nope nope. Homogeneity is boring. At least be honest and admit it's just a case "I don't care about it, so no one should have it" instead of making nonsense BS reasons. How in hell does unlocking the different sets for all roles = homogeneity?
