Oh yes, now I remember that long ass thread where people repeatedly showed up with math showing how bad doing that was.
About how a ilv appropriate dragoon had more defense and HP than a 260/270 tank did.

Which is an insignificant amount. We went all over this ages ago in the relevant thread.Actually the jump from 270 to 273 gear is pretty significant, it's around +200 defence for a tank, something along those lines.
Unless you actually know how defense works and exactly how much it factors in to the damage you take, just throwing around a 200 or even 2,000,000 figure is meaningless. Just because it's a 3-digit figure doesn't mean it's significant.

Well instead of shouting from your high horse, link to the relevant thread? That would help educate ignorant people like me apparently. :^)Which is an insignificant amount. We went all over this ages ago in the relevant thread.

Here ya go.
Note that that post is comparing i270 and i285, so obviously the difference between 270 and 273 is going to be even less.

Doesn't change the fact that a bad tank, healer and/or DPS may cause a wipe, or force tanks to do small pulls (and that particular dungeon is pretty boring, so being forced to do small pulls for any reason is just ugh).
Also when people say dungeons are nerfed or something, I think they might mean the potency boosts Jobs have received in Shadowbringers (and more in 5.1), as well as the death of TP. Hell, having DNC in the group seems to make trash drop faster.
Its the worst they couldve done, not even considering Ilvl cheesing.... id prefered if they just bumb to a higher min lvl if you got lower gear >_>
Now you get ppl with 100+ lvl too low left side insulting you "but I could enter so my gear is ok, stop being a elitist!!!111"
....there is NO REASON to have less then 380 on holminster, no reason to be beyond 408 or smt in mt gulg, just as you got 0 reason to be sub 270 at bardams.

Thank you for mentioning this. I feel like there should be a ticker-tape parade but instead people are mad because you can toggle Echo bonus in solo instances and suddely the game is broken.
I agree that the levels are not really sufficient but it will hopefully stop the worst offenders. Hopefully.

I like how you had this at the ready. Truly, out of anyone here, you win this horse. This old, dead, beat-up horse. /thumbsup.Here ya go.

Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
I didn't have it totally ready; I had to do a search on the forum for all threads with Abania in the name (easy enough), then dig through the majority of the thread to find that particular post (not as easy; I thought the post was made much later in the thread when it's actually relatively early on, so that wasted a lot of searching time)I like how you had this at the ready. But yes, there was so much opposition in the thread that I wasn't about to forget about it anytime soon.
That's fair enough with regard to player damage output. (Still wouldn't say that's necessarily the same thing as nerfing 4-man dungeons; that's a game-wide thing.) But still, most of the arguments seem to be talking about how much more (supposedly) difficult it is just to survive in dungeons like Abania in i270 gear (most were specifically citing tanks and how badly they (supposedly) get wrecked in that dungeon at that gear level) which is not really something that I feel was noticeably changed with Shadowbringers. Our killing ability (particularly with regard to AoE) has improved, sure, but I wouldn't say our ability to survive pulls and Ketu Slash and whatnot has similarly improved; that still needs to be handled with pretty much the same level of care as before. Also when people say dungeons are nerfed or something, I think they might mean the potency boosts Jobs have received in Shadowbringers (and more in 5.1), as well as the death of TP. Hell, having DNC in the group seems to make trash drop faster.

last expansion highest item level -10 is more than enough to beat all next expansion levelling content.
