I don't think it's healthy for a single individual to have access to the full spread of crafts with how prevalent bots are.

I don't think players should be punished for the actions of bots and one of FF14's main features has always been the ability to play every class on one character. Bots could make multiple characters to access all crafts far more easily than players can.

I'll never get the obsession with specialists. "Hey, could we have a system that gimps 5 of everyone's crafters? That'd be so fun! I hate being self sufficient."
