I used it for an apt couple months go and it was awesome.I created a character in May on Adamantoise and got the buff. In 3 months I got all my crafters/gatherer's to 80 as well as 3 combat classes just doing MSQ, class quests, and leves. Probably could have done more considering how much of the MSQ content I did while overleveled. God I miss that sweet, sweet XP so much I've had withdrawal for the last 2 months.
I'd buy a potion for sure, but I doubt we'd see it.

Sorry, it's a bonus for new players/characters. I don't think paying for convenience in that way should be a thing. I already disagree with the jump potions.
I where you are coming from and that is cool, and those of us that are in favor of such things deep down know it is a pipe dream but hey never hurts to try Joys of having individual thought we are all allowed to have our opinions, which is great so no need to apologize for how you feel on the subject that is within your right as a person and a costumer.

You can't stop the cash shop but where the playerbase spends its money as a collective decides what kind of cash shop it's going to be. Stable revenue being poured into leveling potions? That's a green light to further experiment in that particular section. Experienced mmo players have seen the inevitable in all these cash shops: they start out reasonable then later become out of hand. Here is the thing the cash shop is here and it is here to stay. Sure people will want to fight it, but they cannot stop it. As it stands the cash shop as cosmetic and convenience options. Grinds will always be a thing in gaming especially MMO's and tbh providing an extra convenience on the cash shop would be awesome. Truth be told I rather they just add DoH and DoL jump potions but I personally know that is a far fetched dream so road to 70 buff is best thing.
You are free to have your pov but even if grinds are made longer due to convenience options point remains they are still pay for convenience options. Also not an sale an aspect of need, simply a desire.
At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself how much convenience do you want that you're prepared to suffer later repercussions that a cash shop may have on the game? Yes, yes, slippery slope fallacy and all that but one that has had real precedents in any mmo that has a cash shop.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
Probably a rhetorical question but for me personally as much as possible since the repercussions are only a possibility. Sure, data might favor it from happening, but we cannot be a 100% certain that it will be the case for FFXIV. Personally never been a fan of not doing something due to the possible repercussions or failure. Sure I might kick myself later down the road it goes south, but I probably would also kick myself later for not trying since I would not know what the outcome would be. Though I am an odd ball. You can't stop the cash shop but where the playerbase spends its money as a collective decides what kind of cash shop it's going to be. Stable revenue being poured into leveling potions? That's a green light to further experiment in that particular section. The pragmatist in me knows they won't do it.
There are 15 potential jump potions at $25 each. Or 1 road to 70 potion that would let you punt all 15 classes in addition to crafting and Gathering to 70.
In truth, if you willing to pay for a road to 70 potion, just launch on a road to 70 server, then pay them to transfer the completed character to the server you actually wanted to play on.

The jump potions are jump and be done. The Road potion would most likely be time limited, and basically double the sub fee as much as the exp to offset the difference of revenue. SE would get same money but at double rate. It wouldn't affect the 70+ leveling so they might even end up in better spot.
Not a fan of this. I already find it stupid that people move to new servers to get houses, which just pushes the housing problem on the players of the new server. It's not good for the sense of server community when people change them.
The main reason why the Party Finder is not working for the harder content and so many groups disband after few wipes is caused by the players who ignore the comments.
Getting to the phase XYZ once does not mean you are ready to join parties to do XYZ.
Parties should spend most of the time doing the phase that is written in the comment not trying to get there.
